DCM Originator Americas, New York, Base $180,000+ High Bonus
My client a top tier European investment bank has a critical hire for a Vice President or Director level Debt capital markets originator to lead the DCM Americas team out of New York. This is one of the best Debt capital markets vacancies and is attracting a strong pool of DCM candidates.
This role would suit an ambitious Director keen to make MD or a talented Vice President looking to take the next step in his career and become desk head.
Role involved the following:
-Managing a small niche team of 5 debt capital markets originators working across Latam and Americas out of New York.
-Origination of vanilla debt/bonds/covered bonds/private placements and non investment grade products for corporate/Financial institutions and Government clients in US.
-Pitching/marketing and executing the transactions in US issues- Investment Grade High Yield corporate underwriting activities/vanilla bonds such as Covered bonds or Senior unsecured deals/ABS products and also Fixed Income and Syndicated Loans financing alternatives for Latam clients.
-Helping educate the junior members of the team and liaise with research/sales and syndicate desks.
Successful candidate will have the following skills:
-Essential to have good market experience in Debt capital markets-this is a pre requisite for this vacancy,
-My client is looking to hire a seasoned DCM originator ideally based in the US and with skills in structuring/origination and execution of DCM transactions,
-Good client base and list of US-Latam or N American clients-FIG/public sector or corporate is important,
-Good track record in pitching and winning mandates in US bond market is essential for this role,
-Ideal candidate would be a VP/ Director or MD at a leading DCM house in US,
-Successful candidate will head the Americas desk, with a primary focus on the US, Canada, Brazil and Mexico.
Excellent role and very high guaranteed remuneration on offer for this role. This is a replacement hire.
