Project Manager-Taiwan, Japan, Salary: TWD 1.7–1.9 Million

Supported by a global team of risk experts based in all major financial centres, the company is looking for a Project manager to assume a key role within the Client Services group of EMEA Professional Services, responsible for managing implementation and integration of client solutions, based on the company's products, for various clients within the region
The Role: To lead and be accountable for client projects, including: -Sales support during initial contact and contract negotiations, -Estimation of effort, -Work breakdown structures and creation of project work plans, -Managing the on-going client relationship, -Overall delivery of projects comprising implementation and integration of the Company's Risk Management systems at client sites. -To directly undertake project management activities, including leading, monitoring, assigning work and delegating, managing all aspects of the project delivery and reporting on project progress, -To identify opportunities to sell additional services and support offerings during and after the customer implementation while acting within the overall sales strategy, engaging the sales organization for commercial support, as appropriate, -To identify incremental license sale opportunities and engage the sales organization to pursue the opportunity, -To oversee and assist with client implementations assigned to other project managers as required, -To provide “best practices” project management discipline to the organization, including mentoring other staff, -To build and lead effective and focused project delivery teams.
Ideal Candidate: -Extensive hands-on Project Management experience with a large traditional consulting firm, financial services IT consulting organization, or information systems integrator, -Proven track record of success managing multi-disciplinary projects within cross-functional, matrix-managed environments, -Proven ability to manage to project objectives and milestones, and meet client time, budget and quality requirements, -Proven ability to establish and maintain long-term client relationships as well as establish and manage project-specific client expectations, -Excellent ability to build and lead efficient project teams, while managing the “soft issues” within the team, -Proven ability to manage project risks and recommend appropriate solutions, -Proficiency at managing multiple simultaneous projects, -Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships within a cross-functional matrix organization, enlisting commitment across various organizational units, -Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, -Working knowledge of formal systems development and integration methodologies, approaches, techniques and tools, -Strong technology background, -Significant experience in financial services, -Background in risk management disciplines is an asset, including Market Risk, Credit Risk, and Operational Risk, -Ability and willingness to conduct vast majority of the work at client sites and travel up to 40 % of the time, -Master's degree in Computer Science, Commerce, Mathematics or related areas.
