Commodity Quantitative Analyst-London


A leading investment bank are looking to add a Associate level Quantitative Analyst to their European Commodities Trading Desk in London.
This is an opportunity to work alongside a well established team in a very highly regarded company.

The Role:
The position is for a quantitative analyst on the European Commodities trading desk. The main focus of the desk is Crude Oil as well as global European Gas Markets. Responsibilities will include risk analysis, assisting with making secondary markets, indicative pricing and modeling vanilla and structured deals.

The Candidate:
Should have experience in a similar role, or have experience with crude oil or Distillate.
The role requires a high level of numeracy, good organisation skills and very good attention to detail.
A strong technical and quantitative academic background is essential.

This role will offer you the opportunity to move into an extremely strong organization that has a proven record of success. You should expect to be working in a highly commercial organization therefore should be able to adapt quickly to the fast paced trading floor environment.
