From day one you will be recognized as a key member of a focused and experienced team of technologists and be expected to take part in a number of global development projects, incorporating a whole range of cutting edge technologies for a range of business users.
Technically you will need to be a strong all round technologist (C++/C#/Java) and within the role you will be taught a number of in house, trading specific programming languages.
You will interact with colleagues in NY on a daily basis and you will quickly develop your understanding of finance, with frequent communication with traders and quants on the front office desks.
Skills:
-Experience in C++/Java/C#,
-Windows/UNIX,
-Excellent degree in computer science or related field,
-Good communication skills,
-Passion for technology.
Responsibilities:
-Participate in the full SDLC in various languages,
-Work closely with highly senior and experienced technologists,
-Innovate new ideas and take a lead in various ad hoc development projects,
-Work independently and as part of a team.
